Chettarikkal Temple At Koratty - History

Chettarikkal temple is located around 2 km from Koratty Railway station in Thrissur district, Kerala. The temple is one among the 108 Durga temples in Kerala. The temple is referred to as Koratty in Durgalaya Nama Stotravali.

The main deities worshipped in the temple are Shiva and Vana Durga.

The Upa Devata worshipped in the temple is Ganapathy and he has a separate sreekovil (sanctum sanctorum).

Kalamezhuthu pattu is held during mandala kalam (November – December).
