Footwear Offering At Lakamma Temple Gola In Gulbarga District In Karnataka

Lakamma Temple at Gola Village, Alanda Taluka, in Gulbarga District in Karnataka is unique for several reasons. An important offering here is footwear (chappals). People tie garlands made of footwear on a neem tree in front of the temple.

Another unique aspect of the temple is that the priest in the temple is from the Muslim community.
