A collection of quotes on God In Hinduism.
Unintelligent men, who do not know Me perfectly, think that I, the Supreme Personality of Godhead,Krishna ,
was impersonal before and have now assumed this personality. Due to their small
knowledge, they do not know My higher nature, which is imperishable and
supreme. — Bhagavad-Gita 7.24
Unintelligent men, who do not know Me perfectly, think that I, the Supreme Personality of Godhead,
I envy no one, nor am I partial to anyone. I am equal to
all. But whoever renders service unto Me in devotion is a friend, is in Me, and
I am also a friend to him. — Bhagavad Gita 9.29
Even if it were possible to count the atoms after smashing
the earth into powder, still it would not be possible to estimate the
unfathomable transcendental qualities of the Lord. — Srila Prabhupada,
Bhagavatam, 1.16.26-30
The Supreme Lord has nothing to do, and no one is found to
be equal to or greater than Him, for everything is done naturally and
systematically by His multifarious energies. — Shvetashvatara Upanishad 6.8
That supreme abode of Mine is not illumined by the sun or
moon, nor by fire. Those who reach it never return to this material world. — Bhagavad-Gita 15.6
You now think that you are an individual; outside you there
is the universe and beyond the universe is God. So, there is the idea of
separateness. This idea must go. For God is not separate from you or the
cosmos. The Gita also says: I am the Self, O Gudakesa, seated in the heart of
all beings. I am the beginning and the middle and also the end of all beings
(Gita Chapter X verse 20). Thus God is not only in the heart of all, He is the
prop of all, He is the source of all, their abiding place and their end. All
proceed from Him, have their stay in Him, and finally resolve into Him. Therefore
He is not separate. — From Teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi in His Own
Words.
