If I have a little mind and I think of God, the God of my thinking will be a little God, though I may clothe him with grandeur, beauty, wisdom and all the rest of it. – Jiddu Krishnamurti
Go over and over your beads, paint weird designs on your forehead, wear your hair matted, long and ostentatious, but when deep inside you there is a loaded gun, how you have God? – Kabir

That formless ground of Being is always the deepest dimension of who we all are, and it is the ultimate source and wellspring of all that is. In that Ground, nothing ever moves, because there is no time, form, subject or object. There is only One, eternally at rest and at peace. – Andrew Cohen
Happiness is in the mind, not in objects. Money can give us lot of things; in fact, people say money can buy anything – but money cannot buy you happiness! For happiness is not an object – it is a state of mind. It cannot be purchased; it can only be experienced.

When we seek to please others, we often end up in defeat and bitterness. Trying to please others, we build up expectations; we imagine the rewards, the advantages, the appreciation that would accrue to us out of our efforts – and when this is not forthcoming, we end up blaming ourselves and others.
Don’t bother about what other people say! Let them say what they like. But do not let them upset you. What other people say doesn't really matter; it does not really count in the ultimate analysis. What really matters, what counts is what you do. Do your duty.
Seek only to please Him (God) – seek not to please ‘them,’ whoever they may be. (Dada J P Vaswani)
