Pandava Thoothar Perumal Temple, also known as Thirupadagam, is a unique shrine dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Krishna in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. A 25 feet murti (idol) of Lord Krishna is found in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. The shrine is located opposite to the famous Ekambareswarar Temple in Kanchipuram.

The 25 feet murti of Bhagavan Sri Krishna faces east and it is in this form that he appeared before Janamejaya.

Sri Krishna is known as Pandava Tootha because he went to the court of Hastinapura as messenger of peace. However, Duryodhana insulted him and attempted to capture him. This led to Bhagavan Sri Krishna displaying his Virat Roopa or cosmic form.

Janmajeya, great grandson of Pandavas, want to have darshan of Bhagavan Sri Krishna when he heard this story. Bhagavan Sri Krishna then appeared before Janmajeya in the Pandava Thoothar form.
