Poddareshwar Ram Mandir is located on the Central Avenue
Road (CA Road )
and is very close (few mintues walk) to Nagpur Railway Station. The temple has
murtis or idols of both Sri Ram and Lord Shiva. The name Poddareshwar because
the temple was constructed by Shri Jamnadhar Poddar, a famous business man, in
1923.
The Ram Mandir has murtis of Bhagvan Sri Ram, Mata Sita and Lakshman and Hanuman. The murtis worshipped are in the famous Ram Parivar posture.
The ornate and beautiful shrine attracts devotees from
various parts of India
and abroad.
