Lenox India – associated Lenox US gift and collectible major and manufacturer of fine chinaware, accessories and gifts – is currently creating a sculpture of Hindu Goddess Lakshmi in ivory fine china and pure 24 karat gold. Goddess Lakshmi idol is a limited edition of 500 pieces and is priced at $3000. There is a pre-production price of $2500. Simmi Chopra of Lenox India is credited with this limited edition. Three years back, Simmi had brought out a limited edition Lenox Ganesha Idol and later a limited edition murti of Goddess Durga.
Goddess Lakshmi idol is in preproduction stage. The official website writes about it –
Lenox is pleased and proud to create this original sculpture of Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth, prosperity, purity, and generosity; and the embodiment of beauty, grace and charm. She will have a beautiful round nose ring (smaller than a baby's bangle) and her colors will match Lord Ganesha colors! This sculpture is currently being designed. It will be absolutely stunning when completed!
