Rukmini Ashtami is dedicated to Rukmini, the consort of Lord Krishna. It is observed on the eighth day during the Krishna paksha, or waning phase of moon, in Paush month (December – January). Rukmini Ashtami 2025 date is December 23. It is believed that Goddess Rukmini is an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi.
