Mathamangalam Sree Puliyoorkali temple is located at Mathamangalam, Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Puliyoor Kali and other Puli Daivangal. The annual theyyam kaliyattam thira festival in the temple is held for four days in Malayalam Meda Masam – Medam 2 to Medam 5 (April 15 to April 18).

Sree Puliyoorkali temple are Puliyurkali theyyam, Kandapuli theyyam, Karinthiri
Nair theyyam, Kundor Chamundi, Vishnumoorthi, Kurathi theyyam and Marapuli
theyyam.
This is a small traditional Kerala style temple with a chathura sreekovil. The walls and roof of the sanctum are decorated with traditional temple motifs. There are no major structures. Other deities popularly worshipped in Kavu and temples in Kannur region are also worshipped in the temple in small sreekovils, under trees and atop raised square platforms, which are exposed to the elements.
The annual festival days are noted various unique pujas and
rituals, melam, decoration, and traditional temple performing art forms.
Sankranti in every Malayala Masam and Vishu are important
days in the temple.
