Vengara Kakkeel Tharavadu Devasthanam temple is located at Vengara near Madayi in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Chamundi and other deities. The theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Meena Masam – Meenam 24 and Meenam 25 (April 6 and April 7).

Tharavadu Devasthanam temple are Madayil Chamundi theyyam and Gulikan theyyam.
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil – square
sanctum sanctorum. Some deities are worshipped on square platforms and under
trees. The roof and walls of the main shrine are decorated with traditional
temple motifs. Sankranti in every month is of great significance.
