Alakode Naduvil Pothukundu Veerabhadra temple is located at Alakode in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Veerabhadra. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Thula Month – Thulam 9 and Thulam 10 (October 25 to October 26). The festival is famous for the rare muthala theyyam.

The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Alakkode Naduvil Pothukundu Veerabhadra temple are Muthala theyyam, Alakunnu Chamundi and Veerajathan theyyam.

This is a small temple with a chathura sreekovil decorated with traditional motifs especially during the festival period. Important pujas are performed here on Sankranti day which falls in the middle of a month as per Malayalam calendar.
