Podothuruthi Olakkara Madam temple is located at Podothuruthi near Nileshwar in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Oorpazhassi and other popular deities worshipped in kavu and tharavadu in the region. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Dhanu Masam – Dhanu 1 and Dhanu 2 (December 17 and December 18).

Olakkara Madam temple is the Oorpazhachi theyyam.
The temple has a chathura sreekovil (square sanctum
sanctorum) for the main deity. Some deities are worshipped atop small square
platforms and under trees. The temple performs special pujas and rituals on
Sankranti day. This is a family maintained private temple.
