Peringome Kannangattu Bhagavathy temple is located at Peringome, Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy. The annual theyyam kaliyattam thira festival in the temple is held for four days in Dhanu Masam – Dhanu 21, Dhanu 22, Dhanu 23 and Dhanu 24 (January 5 to January 8).

Bhagavathy temple are Kannangattu Bhagavathy theyyam, Gulikan theyyam, Puliyoor
Kali theyyam, Puliyoor Kannan theyyam, Raktha Chamundi theyyam, Kundor Chamundi
theyyam, Karuvanthodu Bhagavathy theyyam, and Kuvalamthatu Bhagavathy theyyam.
This is a small traditional Kerala style temple with a chathura sreekovil. The walls and roof of the sanctum are decorated with traditional temple motifs. There are no major structures. Other deities popularly worshipped in Kavu and temples in Kannur region are also worshipped in the temple in small sreekovils, under trees and atop raised square platforms, which are exposed to the elements.
The annual festival days are noted various unique pujas and
rituals, melam, decoration, fireworks and traditional temple performing art
forms.
Sankranti in every Malayalamasam and Vishu are important days in the temple.
