Chunda Vettakkorumakan temple is located at Chunda near Cherukunnu Kannapuram in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Vettakkorumakan. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Vrischika Masam – Vrischikam 14 to Vrischikam 16 (November 30 to December 2).

Vettaikorumakan temple are the Vettaikorumakan theyyam, Achan Daivam, Illamkarumakan,
Sree Bhootham, Poothadi Malakidaran, Oorpazhassi theyyam, Nagakanni theyyam, and
Kaikkolan theyyam.
This is a small traditional style temple (Chathura sreekovil
– square sanctum sanctorum) for the main deity. Other deities are worshipped atop
square platforms and under trees. Important rituals are performed on Sankranti
day as per traditional Malayalam calendar.
