Maha Vishnu Temple Pullur – Beautiful Pond – Ancient Shrine

Maha Vishnu Temple at Pullur is located on the Pullur - Velashwaram Road in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Bhagavan Vishnu. This is a very well maintained traditional and ancient shrine built using vettukallu (bricks cut from red color earth). The temple has some beautiful and well-maintained temple structures including a beautiful pond.




The temple has a chathura sreekovil (square sanctum sanctorum) and it faces east. There are shrines of upa devatas.

The shrine observes various festivals including Vishu and Thiruvonam. Ekadashi in every fortnight is of great importance in the temple. Thursdays in a week is of great importance.

The shrine is open for darshan in morning hours from 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The evening hours darshan timing is from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
