Kungiparambath Poovadan Madappura temple is located at Venduttayi near Pinarayi in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Pothi, Muthappan and Gulikan. The annual theyyam is held for two days in Vrischika Masam – Vrischikam 26 and Vrischikam 27 (December 12 and December 13).

Poovadan Madappura temple are Manathana Pothi, Muthappan theyyam, Sasthappan
theyyam, Thekkan Gulikan and Thiruvappana.
This is a small temple with a square sanctum (chathura sreekovil) for the main deity. Other deities are worshipped in sreekovil (square sanctums), under trees and atop square platforms which are exposed to elements. Important pujas and rituals are performed on Sankranti day in every month.
