Thillenkery Chalaparambu Valiyananthoth Sasthappan temple is located at Thillenkeri in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Sasthappan or Kuttichathan. The annual thira theyyam kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam.
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil. There are
other smaller sreekovils for other deities. Some deities are worshipped atop
raised small square platforms. Some deities are worshipped under trees. Vishu
is an important festival here. Sankranti is the most important day in a month.
The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Thillankeri Chalaparambu Valiyananthoth Sasthappan temple are Sasthappan, Rakteshwari
Bhagavathy, Gulikan and Vishnumoorthi theyyam. In some years nearly seven Sasthappan
theyyams can be witnessed together.
തില്ലങ്കേരി ചാളപ്പറമ്പ് വലിയനന്തോത്ത് ശാസ്തപ്പന്ക്ഷേത്രം തിറയുത്സവത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി കാവില് ഏഴ് ശാസ്തപ്പന്മാരെ കെട്ടിയാടി. വെള്ളാട്ടം,തോറ്റങ്ങള്, കലശംവരവ്, ഗുളികന് തെയ്യം, തിറ എന്നിവ നടന്നു. രത്നേശ്വരി ഭഗവതി, ശാസ്തപ്പന്, വിഷ്ണുമൂര്ത്തി തെയ്യങ്ങള് കെട്ടിയാടി.
