Paranool Vadeswarath Tharavadu Devasthanam temple is located at Paranool near Pattuvam in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Bhootham and Dharma Dhaivam. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 8 and Kumbham 9 (February 20 and February 21).
This is a small tharavadu, or privately owned home temple,
with a square sanctum sanctorum. Upa devatas are worshipped under trees and
atop raised square platform.
The important theyyams that can be worshipped at Paranool
Vadeswarath Tharavadu Devasthanam temple are Bhootham theyyam, Dharma Daivam
and Kannikkoru Makan theyyam.
