Kootteri Muchilottu Bhagavathy Kavu temple is located at Kootteri near Panoor in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Muchilottu Bhagavathy. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Kumbha Masasm – Kumbham 1 to Kumbham 4 (February 13 to Feb 16).
The main deity is worshipped in a small chathura sreekovil –
traditional Kerala style square sanctum sanctorum. Other important deities are
either worshipped in smaller sanctum or atop square raised platforms. Some
deities are worshipped under trees.
The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Kootteri Muchilottu Bhagavathy Kavu temple are Narambil Bhagavathy theyyam, Puliyoor Kali theyyam, Muchilottu Bhagavathy theyyam and Kannangat Bhagavathy theyyam.

ഭഗവതി, പുലിയൂര് കാളി, വിഷ്ണുമൂര്ത്തി തിറകള് കെട്ടിയാടും. 16-ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് മുച്ചിലോട്ട്
ഭഗവതിയുടെ തിരുമുടിനിവരും. രാത്രി ആറാട്ടോടെ സമാപിക്കും.
