Kanhirangad Pothera Tharavad Devasthanam temple is located at Kanhirangad in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Vishnumoorthi and other deities that are worshipped in kavu and tharavadu in the region. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 20 and Kumbham 21 (March 4 and March 5).
The main shrine is a chathura sreekovil – square sanctum
sanctorum. The other important deities are worshipped on smaller sreekovil (s)
and atop square platforms. Some deities are worshipped under trees.

Pothera Tharavad Devasthanam temple are Pottan theyyam and Vishnumoorthi
theyyam.
