Kandankali Muttil Koonichire Tharavadu temple is located at Kandankali in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Pramancheri Bhagavathy. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 7 and Kumbham 8 (February 19 and Feb 20).
This a unique shrine and it is a two-tier small building. Does not follow traditional sreekovil type of temple construction. Certain deities are worshipped atop square platforms. Some deities are given space under trees.
