Aravathu Thayath Veedu Tharavad Devasthanam temple is located at Aravathu near Palakunnu in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Puthiya Bhagavathi and Vishnumoorthi (Narasimha Avatar of Bhagavan Vishnu). The annual kaliyattam theyyam thira festival is held for two days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 29 and Kumbham 30 (March 13 and March 14).
This a family-maintained temple with a small sreekovil – square
sanctum sanctorum. Some deities are worshipped on small square platforms and under
trees. Pujas are held mainly during Sankranti and Vishu.

Vishnumoorthi theyyam.
