Parippayi Muchilot Bhagavathy temple is located at Parippayi near Sreekandapuram in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Muchilottu Bhagavathy. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for four days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 19 to Kumbham 22 (March 3 to March 6).
The temple has a chathura sreekovil – square sanctum
sanctorum. The roof of the shrine is gold plated. There is another small
sreekovil with a gold-plated roof. Other deities are worshipped atop raised-square
platform which is open to the elements. Some deities are worshipped under
trees. Sankranti is an important day in a Malayalam month here. Vish is another
important festival.

Bhagavathy theyyam, Narambil Bhagavathy theyyam, Puliyoor Kali theyyam,
