Pandakkal Pandokooloth Paradevatha temple is located at Pandakkal on the left side of Moolakkadavu in Mahe. The shrine is a Paradevatha and Bhagavathi devasthsnam temple. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Meena Masam (Meenam 9, Meenam 39 and Medam 1) – April 12, April 13 and April 14.
Pandakkal Pandokooloth Paradevatha temple is an ancient Tharavadu Temple of Nambiar Family. The main shrine is a traditional Chathura sreekovil – square sanctum sanctorum. The roof of the shrine is traditionally decorated with religious motifs. There are couple of other small square sanctum sanctorum for other deities. Several deities are worshipped on square-shaped raised platforms which are exposed to the elements. Some deities are worshipped under trees. Vishu is an important festival here. Sankranti in a Malayalam month is of great importance.

പാറകടവുന്ന് കുളിച്ച് അടുബ്കടവാലെവന്ന് പളളൂർവയലാലെപാഞ് പാറാൽഗണപതിയെതൊഴുത് പന്തോകോവിലകത്ത് ആരൂഡദേവിആയിപടിഞിറ്റയിൽ പിന്നിട് ക്ഷേത്രം നിർമിച്ച് അതിൽപ്രദിഷ്ടിച്ചൂ ദേവിയേ. ക്കോവിലകത്തെപ്രമാണിമാർക്കും ദേശവാസികൾകുംവിഷുകണിആയി വാഴുന്നൂ ഈഭഗവതി.
ലോകനാർകാവിൽ തച്ചോളി ഒതേനൻ കെട്ടിയ പന്തൽ പണി കാണാൻ പോയ കതിരൂർ ഗുരുക്കളെ മാനികാതെ നിന്ന ഒതേനനെ പൊനൃത് വച്ച് അങ്കംകുറിച്ച്. ഗുരുവിനെതിരെ അങ്കം ചെയ്യരുതെന്ന് പറഞ ബന്ധുകളുടെ വാക്ക് കേൾകാതെ അംങ്കതിന്പുറപ്പെട്ട ഒതേനന് അശുബലക്ഷണം ഏറെ
കൺടൂ. കുല ദേവനായ പരദേവതയെ കൂടി ഒതേനൻ യാത്രയായി. യാത്രാവേളയിൽ പരദേവതയോട് മനമുരുകി പ്രാർതിച്ച ഒതേനനോട് അരികിലെ മരതിൽ പഞ്ജവർണകിളി വന്നാലെ അങ്കം തട്ടിൽ കയറാവൂ കതിരൂര് പെരുമലയനെ കൺട് വണങി പോകണം എന്നും അങ്കം കഴിഞ് വിജയിച്ച് വന്നാൽ തിരിച്ച് അങ്ക തട്ടിൽ പോവരുതെന്നും
പരദേവത മൊഴിഞൂ.
അങനെ ഉൺഡയാട്(ഉൺടവീട്) ഇല്ലത്നിന്ന് ഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ച് പൊനൃംപാലം ചാടി കടന്ന് ഗുരുകളെ പിന്നിൽ നിന്ന് വെട്ടി തല അറുത് അംങ്കം ജയിച്ചൂ ഉൺഢയോടെത്തി ഒതേനൻ തൻറ്റേ രക്ഷകഠാര മറന്നത് അറിഞ് വീൺടും അങ്കതട്ടിലേക്പോയ ഒതേനനേ മായൻ എന്ന് പറഞ ഒരുമുസ്ലീം യുവാവ് വെടിവച്ച് കൊന്നൂ ഒതേനനെ.
കൂടെവന്നപരദേവത അലഞ് നടന്ന്. അവിടന്ന് ദാഹിച്ച വെളളതിന്കൈനീടിയത് ഏറ്റുകാരനോട് (മാണിക്കടിയാൻ) കളളു വാങി കുടിച്ച് നടന്നൂ സമീപത്തെ അയ്യപ്പൻ കാവിൽ ചെന്ന പരദേവതയെ, അയ്യപ്പൻ കോവിലകത്തെ ഭഗവതികൊപ്പം ചെന്നിരിക്കാൻ ഉപദേശിച്ചൂ. അങനെ പന്തോക്കൂലോത് പരദേവതആയി ഭഗവതിയും പരദേവതയും ചെറുകൻ എനീ തെയ്യങളാണ് ഇവിടെ ഉളളത്
വിഷുവിനാണ് തിറഉത്ൽസവം എല്ലാദിവസവും ഭഗവതിയുടെയും പരദേവതയുടേയും നേർച്ച വെള്ളാട്ടം ഉണ്ടാവുന്നതാണ്
