Dakhinkali Temple – Maa Dakhinakali Mandir or Dakshinkali – is located at Nayagarh around 90 kms from Bhubaneswar in Odisha. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Dakshina Kali. This is a benign and kind form of Mother Goddess Kali and in this form, she fulfills the wishes of the devotees and blesses them.
The most important festival in the temple is the Pana Sankranti which falls on April 14 or 15. Other festivals dedicated to Goddess Kali which falls on Chaturdashi and Amavasya are observed in the temple. Kali Puja is another major festival.
The temple follows the typical Odisha style architecture.
The temple complex also has shrines of Shiva, Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi.
