Ilamkarumakan Theyyam is a warrior theyyam performed during the annual theyyam, kaliyattam, thira festival in Kannur and Kasaragod regions of Kerala. As per information, the theyyam is in memory of a dead person who performed great deeds. Illamkarumakan theyyam story is based on the legend of a courageous man from a lower stratum of the society.
