Korom Koorkkara Padarkulangara Bhagavathy temple is located at Padarkulangara near Payyannur in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy and other popular deities worshiped in the kavu and tharavadu in Kannur region. Koorkkara Padarkulangara Bhagavathy temple theyyam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Dhanu Masam – Dhanu 21 to Dhanu 23 (Jan 5 to Jan 7).
The main rituals and pujas are held on Sankranthi day as per traditional Malayalam calendar. Vishu is an important puja day in the temple.
The important theyyams that are part of the annual theyyam – thira festival in the temple are Adukkath Chamundi theyyam, Kannikoru Makan theyyam, Padarkulangara Bhagavathy theyyam, Puthiya Bhagavathy theyyam, Veera Kali theyyam and Veeran theyyam.
