Kongatta Sree Chakrapani Temple

Kongatta Sree Chakrapani temple is located at Kongatta near Pattiam - Kuthuparamba in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to the Chakrapani form of Bhagavan Vishnu. This is a traditional Kerala style temple. The temple was in a dilapidated state for a long period and was recently renovated.

The temple has a chuttambalam, chathura sreekovil facing west, namaskara mandapam and a beautiful pond. The architecture of temple is very traditional and is built using vettukallu. Subsidiary deities in the temple have separate small sreekovil (s).

The temple observes Vishu, Prathishta dinam, Thiruvonam, Vamana Jayanti and Thrikarthika festival.
