Aayiramthengil Chamundi theyyam (ആയിരംതെങ്ങിൽ ചാമുണ്ഡി തെയ്യം) is a very rare theyyam that is performed during the annual theyyam and kaliyattam festival in the tharavadu and kavu in Kannur region of Kerala. As per information, the theyyam is associated with Goddess Annapurna. The story of Aayiramthengil Chamundi theyyam is that of her mitigating the hunger of the living beings by providing them with food.
She is believed to have arrived in the region along with Cherukunnath Amma.
