Thaliyil Mandappan Temple is located at Irumukallinthattu - Thaliyil near Anthoor in Kannur district, Kerala. The annual kaliyattam – theyyam festival in the temple is held for three days in Malayalam Makara Masam – Makaram 17, Makaram 18, and Makaram 19 (January 31, February 1 and February 2).
There is no daily pooja. Puja is held on the Sankranthi day as per Malayalam calendar. Vishu is an important festival in the temple.
The important theyyams performed in the
temple are Gurukkal theyyam and Kathivanoor Veeran theyyam.
The main shrine is with a small decorated chathura sreekovil. The other deities are worshipped on square platforms and also in small sreekovils.
