The Mahaprasad or Maha Bhoga or Mukhya Bhog is served at the temple around 10:00 AM.

This is then sold at the stalls in Ananda Bazaar, a large area in front of the door opposite to the main shrine. The stalls are run by suaras who have hereditary rights to receive a portion of Prasad at Ananta Vasudeva temple and then sell it.

The prasad includes five or six varieties of rice, two types of dal, seven to eight types of sabzi, three to four types of chutney, sweet (payash) and rabdi.
