Bheemanad Vellilakunnu Sri Bhagavathi temple is located at Bhimanad in Palakkad district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Mother Goddess Shakti (Bhagavathy or Devi). The annual thalappoli festival in the temple is held in Malayalam Vrischika Masam (November – December).
This is a beautiful Kerala style temple with a chathura sreekovil, namaskara mandapam, shrines of upa devatas and chuttambalam.
The annual festival in the temple is famous for Ashtamangalya Maha Ganapathi homam, sopana sangeetham, Devi Bhagavata Prayanam, seva, temple art forms and other temple rituals.
The shrine also observes various other festivals including Navratri, pratishta dinam, Vishu, Mandala Kalam, and Thiruvonam.
