Anjarakandy Muringeri Palakkeezhu Bhagavathy temple is located near Anjarakandy - Pattathari in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Thai Paradevatha or Bhuloka Bhagavathy and various other deities of the region. The main temple is a square structure. The annual theyyam festival is held on Malayalamasam Makaram 11, Makaram 12 and Makaram 13 (January 25, January 26, January 27).
This is a typical tharavadu type of temple seen across Kannur district. The main shrines here are chathura sreekovils. The temple also has designated places for other deities.
The shrine observes various rituals and pujas that are part of kavu in this part of the region. Vishu is observed in a grand manner in the temple.
The main theyyams that are performed here are Bhootham theyyam, Elladath Bhagavathy, Karanavar, Palakkezhil Bhagavathy and Thekkan Gulikan.
