Rakshas Yog, also known as Raksh Yog, is considered a bad and inauspicious period in Hindu astrology. This yog is calculated based on nakshatra or birth star. The time period of Rakshas Yog is till the nakshatra on the particular day.

Rakshas Yog time period is to be avoided for travels, exams and financial dealings. The time is also not good for the first meeting with a person or family. All kinds of investments, openings etc should be avoided during the time period.

Rakshas Yog happens when
Shatabhisha or Sadayam or Chathayam nakshatra falls on Sunday or Ravivar
Ashwini or Aswathy nakshatra falls on Monday or Somvar
Mrigasira or Makayiram or Mrigashirsha nakshatra falls on Tuesday or Mangalvar
Ashlesha or Ayilyam nakshatra falls on Wednesday or Budhwar
Hasta or Atham nakshatra falls on Thursday or Guruvar
Anuradha or Anusham or Anizham nakshatra falls on Friday or Shukrawar
Uttarashada or Uthradam nakshatra falls on Saturday or Shanivar.

The yog ends on the day when the nakshatra period ends. Rakshas Yoga is present only when the corresponding nakshatra is present on the particular day of a week.
