Thumpinpadu Nagaraja Temple

Thumpinpadu Nagaraja temple is located at Thumpinpadu near Mathoor in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Nagaraja – king of serpents or snakes. This is an important naga worship center. Ayilyam nakshatra day in Malayalam months are important here.

The murtis of Nagas are located under a tree in the middle of a junction.

Three serpent deities are found under the tree and there is no covered temple structure here. The shrine is part of nature worship.
