Patan Lalitpur Chyasim Deval Krishna Temple – Nepal

Patan Lalitpur Chyasim Deval Krishna temple is located at the Durbar Square in Patan, Nepal. The shrine is dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Krishna. Chyasim or Chyasing means eight-sided and it refers to the octagonal plan of the temple. Patan is now popularly known as Lalitpur.

This is a Shikhara style temple and is two-stories. The sanctum sanctorum has a standing murti of Bhagavan Sri Krishna.

The entire temple is made out of stone this includes the ornate pillars and sculptures. Lion sculptures, Garuda and various deities from Hindu pantheon can be seen on the walls of the temple.
