Aranmula Moorthitta Ganapathy Temple

Aranmula Moorthitta Ganapathy temple is located at Mallappuzhassery in Aranmula, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Ganapathi. The temple is dedicated to Ganapati or Ganesha. The annual Vinayaka Chaturthi festival in Malayalam Chingamasam is an important occasion in the shrine. Various pujas and rituals including homam and annadanam are part of the festival. There is also another annual festival in Kumbha Masam.

The temple has a square sanctum sanctorum facing east. The upa devatas worshipped in the temple are Subramanya and Ayyappa.

Chathurthi (fourth day of a fortnight) is an important day in month in the temple.

The shrine performs various pujas for removing all kinds of obstacles. It is said that the deity worshipped at the famous Parthasarathy worships this Ganapati to remove all vighnams.

Vahana puja is conducted regularly at the shrine.
