Sampath Shanivara Vrata In Shravan Month

Sampath Shanivara Vrata is observed by Hindus in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and part of Karnataka in Shravan month (July – August). Shani or Saturn is worshipped on all Sravana Saturdays, with the objective of obtaining wealth and these Saturdays are known as Sampat Sanivara (wealth Saturdays).

Sampat Sanivara Vratam is also followed by those who want to reduce the harmful effects of Shani bhagavan in their horoscope.

It is believed that worshippers of Shiva will never have the harmful effects of Navagrahas. As Shravan moth is dedicated to Shiva, the belief is that worship of Shiva in the month will help devotees in overcoming all problems in horoscopes.
