Urulikunnam Pariyarathel Bhagavathy Temple – Festival

Urulikunnam Pariyarathel Bhagavathy temple is located at Urulikunnam in Kottayam district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The annual Pathamudayam festival in Meda Masam, which is observed 10 days after Vishu, is an important festival in the temple.

The temple has a west facing chathura sreekovil. There are shrines of upa devatas.

The annual festival is observed with various Tantric pujas and rituals including homam, abhishekam and various other Devi temple rituals. Melam, ezhunnallathu and procession are part of the festival.

The shrine also observes Navratri and Thrikarthika festival.
