Pullode Kurumba Bhagavathy Temple – Festival

Pullode Kurumba Bhagavathy temple is located at Pullode near Alathur in Palakkad district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy or Devi. The annual vela festival is held after Vishu in Meda Masam.

This is a small shrine with a chuttambalam and chathura sreekovil.

Five caparisoned elephants participate in the annual festival. Velichappadu, poothan, thira, abhishekam and various Tantric pujas and rituals are part of the annual festivities. Thalappoli, kalampattu and various Bhagavathy temple rituals are organized in the temple.
