Thiruvanchoor Devi temple is located at Thiruvanchoor in Kottayam district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy or Devi. The annual Kumbha Bharani festival (February or March) in Malayalam Kumbha masam is the most important utsavam in the temple. The temple also observes Meena Bharani (March - April).
This is a small typical Kerala style temple with a chathura sreekovil. There are shrines of upa devatas in the temple. The shrine has a kodimaram or flag pole, namaskara mandapam and nalambalam.
The annual Kumbha Bharani ritual is famous for various pujas and rituals as per Tantric scriptures. Procession, ezhunellippu, Kerala temple art forms and melam are part of the annual festival.
The shrine observes Vishu, Ramayana Masam, Navratri, Vrischika Masam and Thrikarthika.
Pathamudayam on Medam 10 (April 23) is an important day in the temple.
