Perimbadari Pothozhikavu Temple – Festival - Porkkorikkal Bhagavathy Temple

Perimbadari Pothozhikavu temple, also known as Porkkorikkal Bhagavathi temple, is located at Perimbadari near Mannarkkad in Palakkad district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The annual prathishta dinam in the temple is held in Kumbha Masam.

The shrine lies on the banks of Kunthi River. The main sanctum sanctorum does not have a roof – chathura sreekovil. The sankalpam could be of Vana Durga. There upa devatas in the temple.

The annual Thalappoli festival in the temple is held in Edava masam (May - June).

The annual festival in the temple is famous for Annadanam, Guruthi Pooja, Ganapathi homam, chuttuvilakku, pongala thalappoli and arattu. Caparisoned elephants, melam, Thira, ezhunnallathu and traditional performing arts of Kerala are part of the festival.

The temple also observes Navratri and Thrikarthika festival.
