Bhoothakulam Vadakkeveedu Bhadra Devi Temple – Festival

Bhoothakulam Vadakkeveedu Bhadra Devi temple is located at Kadambra, Boothakulam (Poothakulam) near Paravur road in Kollam district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhadra Devi. The annual festival in the temple is held in Malayalam Meena masam.

The small temple has a colorful chathura sreekovil and a couple of shrines of upa devatas.

The annual festival is noted for unique rituals and pujas performed in Goddess temples in Kollam region. The shrine also performs special rituals that are only held during the festival period. Abhishekam, homam, melam and temple art forms are part of the festival.
