Vakkom Ponnumthuruthu Shiva Parvati Vishnu temple is located at Ponnumthuruthu near Vakkom in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala. The main deity worshipped in the temple is Shiva, Goddess Parvati and Vishnu Bhagavan. The annual festival in the temple coincides with the Shivratri festival in Kumbha Masam (February – March).
The murtis of the deities worshipped in the temple are very old. The outer structures of the temple are comparatively new. All the sreekovil here are square in shape. Shiva, Devi and Vishnu has separate shrines.
The annual temple festival is noted for pujas and rituals. Abhishekam, and other similar rituals associated with Shiva temples in Kerala are observed here.
The shrine also observes Vishu, Ramayana Masam and Mandala Makaravilakku.
The shrine is located in a such a spot that it is covered with water on all three sides.
The upa devatas worshipped in the temple are Nagaraja and Nagayakshi.
