Saubhya Yog happens when

  • Mrigasira or Makayiram or Mrugasheersham nakshatra falls on Sunday or Ravivar
  • Aslesha or Ayiliyam nakshatra falls on Monday or Somvar
  • Hasta or Atham or Hastam nakshatra falls on Tuesday or Mangalvar
  • Anuradha or Anusham or Anizham nakshatra falls on Wednesday or Budhwar
  • Uttarashada or Uthiradam nakshatra falls on Thursday or Guruvar
  • Shatabhisha or Sadayam or Chathayam nakshatra falls on Friday or Shukravar
  • Ashwini or Ashwathy nakshatra falls on Saturday or Shanivar.

The yog ends on the day when the nakshatra period ends. Saubhya Yoga is present only when the corresponding nakshatra is present on the particular day of a week.
