Ramanattukara Rameshwaram Shiva Temple – Festival

Ramanattukara Rameshwaram Shiva temple is located at Ramanattukara in Kozhikode district, Kerala. This an ancient shrine dedicated to Shiva. The most important festival is the Maha Shivratri festival in Kumbha Masam (February - March).

The annual festival is famous for pujas and rituals. Melam and other similar musical renderings are part of the festivities.

The temple has a chuttambalam, temple pond, namaskara mandapam and a chathura sreekovil. The sreekovil houses a Shivling.

The shrine also observes Ramayana Masam, Thrikarthika and Thiruvathira in Dhanu Masam.

Mondays and Pradosham Vratam days are important in the temple.

The annual pratishta festival in the temple is held in Malayalam Edava Masam (May - June).

The temple is a keezhedom of Sri Pariharapuram temple.
