Ittonam Kundukulangara Temple is an ancient shrine located in at Ittonam in Thrissur district, Kerala. This is a shrine of Mahadeva Shiva. The annual Shivratri festival (last week of February or first fortnight of March (Malayalam Kumbha Masam) is an important occasion at Kundukulangara temple.
This is small beautiful temple with a vatta sreekovil – round sanctum sanctorum. The sreekovil has an ancient Shivling. The chuttambalam covers only half of the temple. The shrine has a nalambalam. There is an upa devata worshipped here.
The Shivratri festival is noted for Tantric and Vedic pujas including dhara, homam, mantras and various other pujas and rituals
Fortnightly pradosham, Ramayana Masam, Thrikarthika are of importance in the temple.
