Mololam Shiva Temple is located at Chirakkal, Azhikode South, Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva. Maha Shivratri in Kumbha Masam (February – March) is another important festival in the temple.
The Shivling is worshipped in a chathura sreekovil with a chuttambalam and namaskara mandapam. There are separate shrines for upa devata including Ganapathy, Nagas and Parthasarathy.
The thidambu of Bhagavan is carried atop the head of chosen persons during the annual Shivratri festival to the accompaniment of temple music.
The shrine also observes Ramayana Masam, Thrikarthika and Thiruvathira in Dhanu Masam.
Pradosham and Mondays are of great significance in the temple.
