Anthikkad Puthanpillikavu temple is located at Anthikad in Thrissur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Bhagavathy. The annual festival in the tempe is held on Bharani nakshatra day in Makaram month. The Karthika Vela is held on the next day.
Anthikkad Puthanpillikavu temple Makara Bharani is famous for thidambu ezhu nellikkal atop a caparisoned elephant to the accompaniment of Melam.
This is a very small temple located amidst beautiful surroundings. The shrine also observes Navratri, Thrikarthika and Thiruvathira festival.
