Narikkuzhy Thampurankunnu Temple

Narikkuzhy Thampurankunnu temple is located near Vadasserikkara in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Muruga or Subrahmanya. The temple is noted for its typical Kerala style architecture with sreekovil, chuttambalam and kodimaram or flag post.

The temple is famous for its Thaipooyam festival in Makaram month (January – February). The colorful festival is famous for colorful Kavadis, devotees carrying palkudam, procession, theru or chariot decorated with flowers, shoolam kuthal, ammankudam and devotees carrying traditional Kavadi. Temple performing arts and music are part of the festival.

The monthly Sashti fasting is another important festival.

Skanda Sashti fasting is also observed in the temple.
